FAQs

Here you'll find answers to some of the things we are asked most often, from how we work to what inspires us.

What types of projects do you specialize in?
icon

We specialize in cinematic storytelling across brand films, commercials, documentaries, weddings, fashion editorials, and fine art projects. Every film is crafted with a focus on emotional depth, visual beauty, and intentionality.

Where are you based, and do you travel for projects?
icon

We are based in New York City, where we conduct the majority of our filming work. However, we are open to filming outside the city in areas such as New Jersey and other parts of the Tri-State Area. If you’re looking to schedule a shoot outside of NYC, please send a direct message or email. Travel-based bookings may include additional fees depending on the distance and logistics. We’re happy to coordinate and travel for your creative project.

How do we start a project with Minbun Studios?
icon

Start by reaching out through our Contact Page or email us directly. We’ll schedule a consultation to understand your vision, discuss your project’s needs, and explore how we can best bring your story to life.

What is your typical turnaround time?
icon

Turnaround times vary depending on the type and scope of your project and complexity. On average, short-form videos (under 1 minute) are delivered within 3–5 business days, standard edits within 5–10 business days, and complex, long-form, or multi-camera projects within 7–14 business days. Rush edits (24–48 hours) are available for an additional fee. We will always provide a clear timeline at the beginning of your project.

Do you offer creative direction or help with concept development?
icon

Yes. We often collaborate with clients from the very first idea, offering moodboards, storyboarding, visual treatments, and creative strategy to ensure the final film feels cohesive and true to your vision.

Can we reschedule or cancel our booking?
icon

Absolutely. We understand that life happens and strive to be flexible—rescheduling is free anytime before the session ends and payment is due, cancellations made over 48 hours in advance incur no fee, those made within 24–48 hours will be charged 50% of the agreed cover fee, and same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full unless due to verified emergencies, so please communicate any changes as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What is your pricing structure?
icon

Our projects are quoted based on the scope, creative needs, and production requirements. After an initial consultation, we provide a custom proposal outlining the investment, timelines, and deliverables. We believe in transparency, quality, and honoring the value of your story.

Do you work with brands and individuals alike?
icon

Yes. We work with a diverse range of clients — from global brands and creative agencies to independent artists, couples, and dreamers. If you have a story to tell, we would be honored to help you tell it.

How will I receive my final video?
icon

All videos are delivered digitally through Google Drive, where you’ll receive a high-resolution downloadable link (1080p or 4K). Please note that video files will only be released once full payment has been received and processed. If you need multiple formats—such as vertical for Reels, square for Instagram, or subtitled versions for accessibility—be sure to let us know in advance.
